Birth of 2nd child, Guardians of Azuma, Earring of the Unfaltering
It was Kai who both times initiated the dialogue.
Our second child was born on his birthday, 20 Autumn.

My second child was born with black hair, tiny golden horns and purple eyes. Resembling her father although her personality is bookish and quiet.
I went to the Isle of the Drowned and caught:
Golden Octopus, Throbby Snapper and Autumn Flounder. I caught a Lobster as well. I am looking for another regular Flounder, although only one fish is missing from the Pescapedia now and it is the Needlefish. Subaru made a Request for two Flounder long ago but I'll be damned if I hand over the only two I ever caught!
It is raining in Autumn Village. Does that affect the weather in the Autumn skies?

24 Autumn: I finally found my 3rd Oni Toppler in the Autumn Fuelds after saving at the Pampas Plains and going south across the bridge. It was growing on a wooden crate, not that this means anything.
Initially I did not want to take Isabel into combat. Kotaro scared her when he played a prank on her, so that meant she was sensitive. To my delight, she loves to read. She wants to be a writer and she collects and searches for rare flowers and such.
Then she told me that as much as she loves to read, she loves going on excursions outside with me. So I addes her to my Party and even placed Misha and Isabel in the front positions. Sadly they do not have the wealth of dialogue I experience when Kai and Kurama occupy those positions.
As I still was uncertain about her love of combat, I took the children mushroom hunting with their father. What a wonderful sight to see them scrambling over rocks and fallen logs in the bright sunshine. Kai himself said the sunlight was glorious. Kurama lives in the twilight beloved of gamers and emerges simply to complain about Nature for the most part while Kai is profoundly appreciative, having come from the Underworld where the sunlight never penetrates.
Kai when we 'dated' spoke repeatedly of wanting to be a beidge betqeen oni and human. I truly felt that by marrying him, I gave him the certitude that he had become precisely that and when Isabel was born with her tiny horns, that was proof of an even stronger bond between the onis and humans.
Unfortunately he is a little bewildered by this child who resembles him physically but whose personality is so different. His is a generous and open heart and he loves her no less but I think he is a little sad that she appears to prefer Kurama's company.
She does start at Level 65 and equipped with the most powerful Talisman, Clarice's Commander's Cap (or a Celestial Crown), a Mirror Shield and Ring of Repose, she can hold her own anywhere.
My conpanions tend to receive my hand me downs in terms of weapons and equipment. I am reaching the point where I could ask Zaza to give every one shiny new items of rare value.
With my third Oni Toppler, I finally can craft a protective
Accessory I gave long desired.
Unfortunately, it has to wait until tomorrow as I have kept the children out past 11.00 p.m.
25 Autumn:
I wanted Zaza to do the honours but she and Watarase both are walkabout today. I found her fishing near Yachiyo's this morning. I still am working on both of theit Friendship Levels to reach Levrl 12. The only other missing cutout is one from Kusatsu.
So I went to my Autumn Blacksmith and handed over my Mushrooms and other materials to craft the Earring of the Unfaltering. It feels like Christmas morning!
There is an Earring of Resistance that gives 50% protection. I am so glad I resisted the temptation.
At Level 163, nothing and no one can defeat me but the status ailments are annoying. I can use my Drum to nullify them but I have dreamed of being invincible.
It was interesting to find the last Oni Toppler, not on any Island in the sky, but in the Autumn Fields.
I finally managed to increase Friendship with Zaza and Kusatsu to Level 12 to receive the curout from each. Only Watarase remains.
At Level 6, Isabel can cook with me.
The basic dish is Hot Chocolate and with that we make:

He reached Level 13 and gave me a Deployment Set. Question here would be if he still would give me one if I did not have the Recipe yet.
26 Autumn:
Isabel gave me Sakura Mochi as a reciprocal gift when I gave her the Bittersweet Hot Cocoa we made.
27 Autumn:
I found the last Jizo Shrine. It was not really difficult to reach. The problem was what I suspected. It is one of those 'interior areas'. You will not see the Map for it until you go through a 'doorway' on the main map. It was easy to miss as well because it is in the snow. Woolby remarked that we had found them all but I knew that myself!
29 Autumn:
We had the last viait from those who reward goid deeds
In the morning, we were greeted by a very large chest with a letter of grstitude and a Jizo Trio Statue Decoration
i received Watarase's Cutout today when he reached Level 12.
30 Autumn: Tsubame almist has reached Level 11. It is a slow business! A wily mwrchant, she loves onky the most valuqble gems. Honestly, there is no significant difference between other gifts so no purpose in wasting them. Might as well give her something relatively inexpensive. Lately though I take her out to eat instead. She seems to appreciate that.
Im going through the various levels of the Foreat of Endings today to get a feel for who is where. All the Board Requests are for specofic high level Monsters so it is annoying when I do not know where to look.
I used all my Bear Topplers for that one earring so I was delighted to find one on the fallen log not far from the entrance.
I wrote about each level separately but here are basics
Level 1 is a pretty forest with a few Mushrooms, a lot of high level fowls and onis.
Level 2 is dark with a lot of huge spiders and small ones. I found another Bear Toppler today here.
Kappas and Toads and a Frog at the top of a series of pools.
Toads and Wisps, and joy! An Oni Toppler. Either my lucky day or I need to visit these places more often. The mining gives all high level items.
Sadly I missed havinf dinner with my family by a few minutes. It us cobfusing because they are with me in combat!
Level 3 id the sort of dungeon I hate with wheels and cogs but it has a multitude of Wisps, Lanterns and a high level Neko on a moving cog. I will return tomorrow, but glad to get a few Monster requests off the board.
I felt rather bad today, trading the first Cluckadoodle I ever tamed for a high level one but once in a blue moon, one should be practical. Low level eggs do not win contests!
1 Winter:
Back to Forest of Endinfs, Level 3. I should have gone alone. My dear family killed off both of the high level Nekos before I could flutter my fan. The Artillery liked neither a Mysterious Branch nor a Hermit Iron Fragment nor Chalcophile Fragment. I really did not need him but just curious. I kind of want a Mikoshi one for its look.
On to Level 4 which is like the Winter Wilds. Here should be the place to defeat Horse and Buffamoo for the Request Board. I actually need better milk in my barn.
2 Winter:
Level 5 is very idyllic, all light green and bamboo.
Mushsprites folliwed by Kantwrn Loonies. Took care of a Request on the Board
Level 6:
Dark level again with spiders, hornets and Mushsprites.
Level 7: Pretty forest, attacked instantly by hornets. Many hornets and beea, then Assassins. A Neko but Kai and the children defeated her too quickly. A very powerful Tanuki as well. Must return alone!
Mikoshi now. On third try, tamed with Mysterious Btanch. It did not want Olive Oil or a Holy Fragment
There was a Neko but I lost her. She rejected Mysterious Fur, Mysterious Claw and Iron.
3 Winter:
Misha went to Level 18 and gave me his Split Mix. He gave me the Cheery Flan before.
4 Winter:
Kai went to Level 23 and gave me Hellfire Dango again.
I missed a chest in Level 3 behind a scroll you must slash FoE that gives Wind Boost Maga IV and HP Maga IV
Level 4 FoE chest at a red Shrine that has Weakness MAGA IV and Fire Boost MAGA IV.
Level 5 chest I missed near 2nd Tengu behind a little hut contains Water Boost Maga IV, Crit Damage MAGA IV.
5 Winter: Woolby has been absent for a couple of days again. Is it possible it is linked to my attempt to go throygh the Trials? Perhaps I should not have saved. I did not complete any after all but it is too late now.
With only Woolby, I went back to Forest of Endings. A Quality Claw tamed the Neko I have been chasing in the bamboo Forest of Level 7. I think they do not want something 'better' at all. Exquisite and Mysterious items are rejected! Even though she is high level, she wants the lesser brand.
On my own, I reached Level 164. I need to pay attention to something else here. Experience does increase both with use of traditional weapons abd Sacred Treasures. Lately I have been using the Sacred Treasures one by one to try to maximise the Skill Nodes. I only have one or two left for Parasol and Mask.
I had equipped the Star Pendant yesterday but only using the Sacred Treasures. I will have to look at actual points and if the Star Pendant works for all kinds of combat actions. The problem witb it is that it does not protect from Elemental attacks so I need to wear it in a dungeon without hosts of Mushsprites, Hornets and Toads. They can be very annoying. Perhaps tomorrow.
Why do I find it more difficult to put down a gorgeous Horse than any human enemy? And yet I do as well as the lovely Nekos who mew as they are sent packing. So hard!
Isabel wants Exquisite Fletch to use as a bookmark. Such an interesting child. Like Kurama, she can be a bit over the top at times but I do love her. It is too bad thw two children do not really interact with one another.
She muttered in a dream asking where her book was. Kai periodically cries out: 'Mercy,Yachi!
6 Winter:
Woolby still not there uoon waking
I found an Oni toppler FoE Lv 1 about halfway to endpoint from the middle.
Lv 3 has lanterns and parasols.
Going from Endpoint Lv 9, I found a chest conraining Fire boost MAGA IV and RP Maga IV.
Found Buffanoo finally again!
I tamed one.
7 Winter: Woolby is back now! He can be annoying but I miss him when he does not appear at 6 in the morning. It has to be something to do with Level 9 in FoE. The other possibiliry is that he had to announce Fubuki's birthday tomorrow.
I found an Oni Toppler on fallen log about halfway from the start to midpoint of Level 1 of the FoE.
There also was a chest I had missed containing Seeds for all the Golden Crops near the midpoint area. It labelled seeds twice as Golden Pumpkin and that has occurred before. I have so many Golden Seeds now I cannot really confirm this.
8 Winter:
Fubuki's Birthday: I always give him Grilled Salmon but Bacon does just as well. Salmon is plentiful as I have Villavers fishing always now.
10 Winter:
Pilika's Birthday. I give her Honey or Grilled Salmon.
What they once called a 'red letter day' for me as I finally caught another Flounder on the aBamboo Islsnd where the Sage of Sweets once resided. I finally can give 2 to Subaru who requested them 11 years ago. (Year 1, but with Isabel's birth, it now is Year 12)
11 Winter:
I am going to make certain I reach Level 12 with Tsubame before I go to the Orb.
I have really no other goals left except tk increase my own Level to be better able to deal with those awful Trials.
Woolby comes and goes now. Very little rhyme or reason to his departures. Reliving significant battles like the one with Mihoshi Habaki or the Black Dragon might confuse things a bit. I relived the aMihoshi Habaki battle last night and he was missing this morning.
A little useful tip: One can return to the Spring Kagura Shrine to relive the battle with the Black Dragon on a daily basis. Why? Materials for forging. You receive White Dragon Fur and Black Dragon Scales. The items made with Black Dragon Scales make you both more powerful and more vulnerable to elemental attacks. (Not my style to court paralysis and poison if I can simply avoid it.)
I hunt for Mushrooms most days now. I found a Bear Toppler today at the north end of Level 2 of FoE. There is a square area uppermost northwest with one Mushroom.
12 Winter: And Woolby is back to greet me this morning. Is it because he needs to announce that tomorrow is Clarice's birthday?
Forest of Endings Level 5 has Lanterns and Parasols.
