Forest of Endings, Level 7

N.B.  In a chest on a grassy 'shelf' to the right of the fishing area, you will find all four varieties of seeds for the Golden Crops.  Sadly all Level 1, but if you are here early in your game, they may be useful.
Actually, I found only three varieties of Level 1 Golden Crops in my Inventory when I looked later.  I ship all the low level seeds now to prevent villagers from choosing them.

Giant hornets and other bees.  A Tsaburo leaps from a grassy knoll.  There is a Neko Girl, two Assasins about halfway through near a little hut  before the path turns to the left.
I hate it that Ikaruga somehow assumes he is in charge.
'I hate seeing you in pain, Earth Dancer!  Fall back!'

He keeps saying: Tremble before the powers of Jingasa.  Then instantly, something to the effect of:
Good training session.  Let's stop here.
A chest beneath an arch holds HP Maga IV, Recovery Maga IV.

When you cross a red arched bridge, wall of flame erupts and you are attacked by guys in armour who are Fallen Warriors and some artillery.
It was rather amusing.  The artillery became stuck behind a pillar and its legs were moving frantically but it could not free itself.

Masked Priest and Neko Girl in the area as well.

Go north to a Torii arch to find a Wayside Shrine that gives:
Dragonlord Recipe
Twin Dragons Recipe
Grand Mystics Talismans Recipe
Lucky Strike Recipe

Ikaruga will feel Christmas came early this year with that Grand Mystic Talisman if I make it for him!  Perhaps it can be my parting gift.

The Lucky Strike has 100% Critical hits.

Another chest on a higher altitude holds Golden Turnip Seeds, Golden Potato Seeds, Golden Pumpkin Seeds, Golden Pumpkin Seeds.  10 of each.  It is at the very top of the Map before you reach the fishing aread.
Find the wooden arch and go that way east and then aouth.
Tamed Neko Girl with Mysterious Claw.  Go under white arches to meet another Neko Girl and Mechanical Mikoshi.

Many Evil sorcerers, Warriors. Ninjas, Nekos, Hornets.

In a hollow tree you pass through a chest that contains MND MAGA IV, wind aboost MAGA IV
Chest under Wisteria Tree contains Gravel Path, Exotic Road.

Climb a wooden structure for a chest containing Earth boost MAGA IV, Light Boost MSGA IV

Go under two natural rock arches to reach the Monster Boss Den.  The new Save Point was easy to miss.  Had to go back after the fight to activate it.  lt was an almost idyllic level, very pretty with two fishing spots.

(I confess in the Ikaruga game I ran past as many enemies as possible to get to the Save apoint by 7.00 so I could go home for the meticulous culinary perfection that it gladdens Ikaruga's heart to serve.

A couple of rings of flame where enemy groups had to be dispatched.

Using Kai's Mask is difficult for me.  Aim has to be perfect.  With the Fan and Parasol especially the effects are wide rangong.  Even with my back to the enrmies, I can cut them down.

Monster Den has you fight both the Spectral Warrior and the Grudge Knight.  I am trying to use all the Sacred Treasures now in my attacks so used Kai's Mask almost exclusively on both.  One had Fire element and one had Water.

(Again, although I had placed Ikaruga as No.3, he takes charge:  'I shall dispatch all who disturb the peace.'

What is truly bizarre is that I am fighting both of these horsed ebemies alone.  My entite Party remains huddked by the entrqnce, although Ikaruga still verbwlly directs the show.  Never had anythibgblike this happen before.  I ran about a little just to tey to oersuade them to follow but no joy!  They obviously are not losing any health with this cowardly display so I shan't have to worry about healing any of them.  I confess though that I am disappointed.  Kai usually is right there at my side.

And then Okaruga pipes up:  Tgese wounds aren't nearly enough to defwat me!

WHAT WOUNDS?

He has not budged since we entered this area.  I am fighting both of these guys solo and with Kai's Mask, half of my blows land on no one.

Ikaruga:  Now it's our turn to strike!  Let's begin our counteroffensive!

Be my guest, mate!

Not one contribution.  When I finally went to activate the Save Point, they all leapt forward, jostling for attention.  What a sorry performance on their part!

Blessedly I have only one more node to unlock on Kai's Sacred Treasure.  I then will have 21/21 on all of them and can return to the simple joys of natural combat.
