Fireworks Festival

20 Summer:
Ordinarily, the ability to invite some one begins on the 17th but you can wait until the 20th to make an invitation.  I do not know if any one you are able to invite ever refuses.  I will teat that.  What I do know is that botb Subaru and Kanata at Level 3 neither asked me nor did I have the option to ask them.  I had hoped to have been able to see the event with Subaru... another year or another life.
As for others...
I am seeing what the Event will be like with Ikaruga but not sabing the result.  As time permits, I will use the same file to ask others.
What wad a little ironic is that I have experienced three majot events yhis morning but none will be saved.
The fiemrst was whwn I walked out of the Spribg Dragon Shrine.  I thought it would be an event with Subaru but iy was an evwbt witb Murasame wherein the yoma finally shows herself as a rather sexy cat type.  Murasame does not hesitate until I tell him I do not want him to die, that it will hurt me if I were to lose him.  He says then he will think upon it.
The bext evebt occurs when I go to the Wibtwr Dragkb Shribe and walk into a pin there.  It is an evebt with Fubuji who had found an old manuscriot that referwnces the Winrer Blossom.  I promise I will search for it with him.
The third event is with Subaru.  I must exit Kusatsu's Inn and walk imto the marker to experience it.  Kusatsu waxes lyrical about Subaru's god looks abd charm.  Subaru suggests Kusatsu create a Couples' Menu.

Organising the Fireworks

You must talk to Matsuri between 10. and 5 to experiwnce a little event where ahe asks for your help.  You willmake a furework with her and choose the material and size.  The colour is determined by the ingredient you give.
I chose a fire crystal and wanted it as large as possible.
Once you have the event where you agree to help, you can speak to her again at once to give the item and make your choice.
She will tell you that you still have time to invite some one.

Details to test:  Can one see Matsuri and give her the material and size before you invite some one?  Is 5 the cutoff point for inviting some one or is it earlier?  I expect it is 5 but need to test it.

After the Ecwnt, yout date will remain on tbe beach and simply repeat he or she wiyld like to do it again next year.

Going to the beach beneath Kusatsu's Inn after seeing the event with Kai, many had collected:
Mauro
Matsuri.
Ulalaka
Kanata
Subaru

Of non marriagable characters:
Hisui
Kusatsu
Tsubame

You can hang out with them or simply speak to them.

I will see who is there when I go with some one else.  I will save a file for that, but now wish to move forward.

Fireworks with Ikaruga

I never want to experience this again!

My gorgeous big red firework was given this response:

'That one seemed different from the rest.  Perhaps the work of an untrained hand.'

And I understand that he hated it!

To increase the 'fun', he complained that he hurt his neck looking upward too long!!!

Fireworks with Kurama

I chose an Exquisite Claw that would make yellow and only Large because I think he would consider Deluxe vulgar.  He was not excited by my invitation really.  Will be interested in his behaviour tonight.

He was not very enthusiastic about the event or about the Firework.  He told me again how he dislikes outdoor events.

In another game, Kyrama had a wonderful time.  I think I chose Super Deluxe Green but will confirm that.

In a more recent game, I invited Ikaruga and asked Matsuri to make a Super Deluxe Orange firework using Rusty Metal.  What a difference!  He loved it, called it ‘exceptionally beautiful’.

I recall that Murasame was not very impressed with a large purple firework I made.

Fireworks with Mauro

I chose Light Crystal for yellow because he loves Amber and Super Deluxe

I had a feeling it would be positive.  It was a very interesting event actually!

If you have experience with other Rune Facrory games, you will catch the referwnce to the other earlier Sainte-Coquille characters.  Mauro speaks of their tendency towards obesity later in life after teasing you with banter about his own beauty in his new yukata.
He blushes more than once during the event abd actualky cries a little when he sees the huge yellow firework you made.

Cuilang really loved the Super Deluxe Yellow Firework Matsuri made with Quality Claw.  I now am choosing the colour based on the clouds in the background of their profiles.

I asked Matsuri to make Super Deluxe Blue from Water Crystal for Murasame.

Hina loved a Super Deluxe Red Firework made with Cherry blossom.

Introduction to Guardians of Azuma Guide

Introduction: Please see my Walkthrough posts for a linear guide to this game. This is a complex and rewarding game.  I fell in love with the series when the first Rune Factory was released and my guides were being published by IGN.    How could one not love the idea of Harvest Moon that introduced a forge and combat?  Decades later, and a number of different handheld systems later, we have the greatest Rune Factory game since the incredible Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.  In fact, it reminds me most of that game with similar beauty and rather profound emotional investment. Guardians of Azuma, although multi-layered and very complex, contains a wealth of tutorials and is much more forgiving in terms of goals.
