Forest of Endings, Part 2, From Level 7 onward

19 Summer:

Tomorrow is the first Fireworks Festival I can share with my little family although Misha told me repeatedly he was planning to go with his friends.  Kai began to ask me three days earlier.  I did a little test to see if I even could go with some one else.  One cannot.  My friends will talk about the Festival but now that I am married, will not even attempt to persuade me to invite them.

I am happy to go with Kai really.  His first enthusiastic responses last year to the purple Firework I created made me see him suddenly as a potential husband rather than the 'town drunk'.
As we go through the vortex to 7.1: 
Me: What will you say when we meet Mihoshi Habaki?
Woolby:  I'll start wirh 'Hey, you wanna quit dropping heart shards on us, pal?
This is a large Map.  There ars no Frogs here but there is a Wayside Shrine and two fishing spots.  Perhaps I can find the fish I am missing.

I still need more Flounder.  I am reluctant to fill Subaru's request with the only flounder I ever caught!
The fish that eludes me is the Seerfish.


Not tonight though.  Tonight we just have a quick recce.

We are met instantly by more of those cursed bees that appear to dominate these levels now.  We take poison but shake it off without the Drum.

Kai though has lost energy from the earlier encounter  with Ura who now calls himself Lord Ura even in the presence of his old comrade... so I use the Drum now to restore his HP.
Going right instead of forward, I have taken a shortcut it seems.  I continue now instead of backtracking.  Will explore whatever I missed next time.  On the Map, the Shrine now is directly ahead.
In doing so and crossing a pretty little arched bridge, we activate a wall of flame.  The enemies we encounter now are some I might like to tame when I have more space in any Batn.  There is a powerful Neko, a rather beautiful mechanical Mikoshi, Evil Sorcerer and God knows what else.  The magical attacks of my Party obscure the scene.  I will return alone one day.
At the Wayside Shrine, I receive:
Dragonlord Recipe
Twin Dragons Recipe
Grand Mystic's Talismans Recipe
Lucky Strike Recipe

I see now we never really crossed the bridge before we were attacked.  We cross it now.
This is a very pretty level, all forest, running water and flagstone paths.  We encounter two Masked Priests.
There is a little pedestrian roundabout here with a pond in the centre.  A crate contains Seeds. 

Time to go home.  It is after 11.  Whatever awaits us can wait!

How the Fateweaver Shrine Fates work in Guardians of Azuma

I read descriptions about this.  I read opinions of players who had different reasons for wanting or not wanting to do it. I am the sort of player who has back up files.  I saved a file at the point of planting the Plum Sapling where every eligible candidate was at Level 10, had gone through all Bonding Events and would accept my proposal if I made one. I went forward from there and married Kai, and had two children with him.  At this point, the game was given an update with new rewards and ability to increase Bond Levels.  In the file where I was married to Kai, I raised every character with a Profile to Level 12 to obtain a Life-sized Cut Out Recipe. All Villages were at Level 10 and I completed all the Pure Azuma Quests. I was promoted to god after returning the Heart Shards to Mihoshi Habaki. What I had not done was go through the Trials.
