Goldblossom Mine Holy Shrine

14 Summer:

I fly to this new destination after activating the Spring Holy Shrine on the same day, but it is almost nightfall.
We enter and find spiders and Mushsprites.  A green blightbloom on a rock that can be reached without difficulty.  Smash two Kai rocks.  At the end of this area is a chest with a Lucky Ring.  It is a cul de sac so you need to retrace your steps to find a massive chamber crammed with purple blightblooms floor to ceiling in all directions.

Unfortunately, this was a nightmare for me the first time round and once again I find myaelf going round in circles needlessly.  I do recall you cqnnot clesr all the blight by destroying it all here.  You will find some of the blightblooms you need elsewhere.

I finally give up almost at midnight and find this on the Board:

15 Summer:

Such a strange illusion really.  It is not a new day in my other world but in Azuma, there is a new perspective and energy at 6 a.m.  i return at once to the Goldblossom Mine and this time study that main chamber and all the blightblossoms.  I did not recall if I destroyed one the first time I entered yesterday but today, I stand on the right near the Shrine and find a blightbloom I can hit with a flame arrow.

(There are Yoichi targets that are hints)

I then find one closer to the centre of the area and destroy that. 

I cannot recall now if I hit one more here but however many, I now can move past the remaining blight towards the end of the Mine.

I reach a chamber and it is filled with all manner of blightblooms higher than ground level.  Enemies include an Ironclad Bear.  I manage to clear the blight here and then see on the Map that I now have a clear path to the Holy Shrine.  I will explore again later.  For now I go directly there, activate the Save point, then find and activate the Holy Shrine.
Thd Hound now appears.  Using the Sacred Sraff appears to work wonders.  When he is defeated, I return to Azuma and find Matsuri and Kanata on the veranda of the Summer Shrine.  We speak of Clarice.  I would like to know more about her.  

I am told to visit the Summer Dragon Shrine.  When I walk outside, I see Subaru sweeping.  An event follows.  He feels guilty.  I tell him it was not really his fault.  We need to work together now to protect Azuma.

I have achieved his awakening very quickly.

A  base has been found in the Autymn Fields.  I go to Kotaro at Yachiyo's.  Yachito is cross brcause he tra b sfoemed into an adult.  I ask if he can teach me transformation.  He tells me he will need a Transformation leaf and a Wooly Heart.

I move as quickly as possible:

First to the courtyard of the Mechanical Maze where after running through various screens, Woolby exclaims therevis a strange Tsnuki.  I never really saw him until we are defeating him.  He does give us the Transformation Leaf.  Woolby declares we should speak to Ulalaka now.
She is in front of her shrine chatting to Suzu.  Suzu says she gives concerts and the Woolies are her audience and fans.

Now matters become complucated.  There is a gold pin at the entrance to the Spring Highlands but when I go there, it is the next Bonding event with Murasame.  He is confronting a Colossal oni and at the end collapses... but I am in a hurry now to reach the Isolated Islet where there is a marker showing where the strange Wooly is.
Go down the hill from the large stone stage or platform.  Suzu will complain the Wooly is taking too much space.  I used Irohas Fan, then defeated it.  She lectures it and it gives me a Wooly Heart.

I return to Kotaro instantly at Yachito's and he fashioned a special Wooky Leaf that will allow me to transform.

Now it is 9.30 in the evening. I warp to Riveraide Save apoibt and run directly north.  I use the Parasol to glide over tge littld abyss with the vent.  I walk towards the base and ecoeriwnce a little event wherein I transform.  

When this ends, I must walk into the base as a Wooly to find Clarice.  There are many pota filked with little items.  As a Wooky I cqn scrounge freely.  There aksi us a chest with an Exotic Medal.
Clsrice is seated at the edge of the cliff looking out over thr water.  She telks me her story.  After the ahoubd and Veyron find her.  Veyton discusses thd plan to find the Dragon Casket and the Hound gives her the last Amulet of Sacrifice.

I go to Hinq now who is standing near the Autumn God Shrine and tell her everything.

Time to Rest.

Woolby:  Just great!  Just the thought of it is giving me a migraine.

Introduction to Guardians of Azuma Guide

Introduction: Please see my Walkthrough posts for a linear guide to this game. This is a complex and rewarding game.  I fell in love with the series when the first Rune Factory was released and my guides were being published by IGN.    How could one not love the idea of Harvest Moon that introduced a forge and combat?  Decades later, and a number of different handheld systems later, we have the greatest Rune Factory game since the incredible Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.  In fact, it reminds me most of that game with similar beauty and rather profound emotional investment. Guardians of Azuma, although multi-layered and very complex, contains a wealth of tutorials and is much more forgiving in terms of goals. New Update gives new Development Zones and new Recipes

At Level 12, a new Reward from Kai: After building it, the Carpenter declares: Nice and solid, if I do say so myself! That will please his fans!  Even if one marries some one else, this lifesized figure can be the guardian of a shrine on your Development area.  I actually got to Level 12 with him today in my new game... but I am at maximum level with every one in my other gane so will be able to log new rewards from the update shortly. The new Spring and Summer Development zones are wonderful.  I need to push on in the new game to be able to complete my Walkthrough but I am eager to explore all the new options.
