Preparing for the Heavenly Party, then Defeating the Black Dragon

It is 11 p.m. on 13 Summer.
I won the Fishing Frenzy Contest earlier.

I have decided not to avoid what lies ahead.  The only way to do so now would be to avoid Ulalaka.

Instead, even after 11 she was waiting in the zen garden at the Summer Village.  She took the three dishes and told me Matsuri would organise the fireworks.

I feel that there will be no Fireworks Festival if I do not push ahead now. 

14 Summer:

I harvested my first Giant Gold Turnip in Spring Village.

I am going to lose my fabulous Party shortly so decided to try to increase levels in companions who are not gods.
My new Party is Ikaruga, Murasame, Mauro, Hina, Pilika.
I took them to Heaven to fight Wolves and Kappas.  I then took them through the Underworld.  Shall we fight Ura?
Wow, we did really well.  Very little Energy lost by any one.  I gave three of them Healing Bells.  As Nine tails is in a Barn, I get the material daily.

I took them to fight the Corpse Tree in the Forgotten Grove.  'Piece of Cake' using the Sacred Staff.  Every one else was fine as well.

Once 7.00 rolled round I went to the Summer Beach and Matsuri started the festivities.  Every onr was having a great time until Woolby spied a little girl eating the offerings for Kanata.  They had an altercation in the form of a tug of war, then Kanata was revealed as the child.
She then spoke of the part she played in causing the Celestial Collapse.  Consumed with guilt, she hid herself away.
The Gods and I begged for her help.  She is needed for the Divine Severance.  Even if a new world rising out of the ashes of the old is a good thing, the gods' duty and mine is to protect the people and lives that are in their care here and now.
Ulalaka tells us to meet at rhe Spring Kagura Shrine.  Even though the Party did not end until 11.00 p.m.,  I decide to go immediately.
You are told to save your progress at the Spring Kagura Shrine.  You are told you will lose the gods temporarily 
You then are directed to fly to the epicentre.

Time does not pass now.
I go and fight the Black Dragon.  Use X to produce White Dragon Breath to finally defeat her but Subaru will die with her.  
You find the Amulet of Sacrifice and offer yourself to the Black Dragon but your soul belongs to the White Dragon so this is impossible.

The Black Drago  gives you the choice to offer something of equal value instead:
Trust
Experience
Wealth
Or you can decide Subaru is not worth any sacrifice.  I had not expected to do this until tomorrow so I had 50,000 Gold.  I offered my Wealth notwithstanding
Subaru is recovering consciousness at the Spring Kagura Shrine in my arms  when Clarice appears and uses Godslayer against the Gods.
The human Party I formed today now show their mettle and come to our aid, and I am told to take Subaru to safety while they fight on our behalf.
Back in Azuma, Ikaruga stands with the other mortals when I emerge from the Dragon Shrine where Subatu is recovering, discussing all the events that occurred.
When I go to bed, Fubuki appears in my dream, telling me it might take decades or even longer for the other gods to recovered unless I find the Shrines. 
What is directing events now is that, wounded though they may be, their strength alone holds uo the barrier to the epicentre.  If I can find and activate the ancient seasonal Holy Shrines, they can generate the energy needed instead. 

Curiously, Fubuki wss the only god who was not affected.  It never occurred to me to add him to my Party, but I expect I might have done so.

Fubuki directs me to revive Spring first but sadly he has no idea where that Holy Shrine  would be.

Before looking for the Shrine, I finally am able to experience Murasame's next bonding event: 'An Ominious Aura' .
I walk toward the marker in front of his house.  He is determined to be more powerful than Clarice now but I must wait until tomorrow to experience more.

I take to the sky and fly towards the Gold pin.  When we dismount we are met by Buffamoo and Onis.  Walking directly ahead, I find a Frog giving the Magical Potion Recipe and the Uplifterall Recipe.
I find a round circle warp when I climb the stairs to the right of the Frog.  I use the Sacred Fan to activate a yellow fan.  I equip the parasol and rise on the new wind vent to a higher level.
There are two yellow fans to activate there.  Glide upwards and to the right to find another area.
Use Kai's Mask to smash a rock revealing a Frog that gives
Stir fried Udon Recipe.

I need to activate four yellow fans here.  The fourth is hanging out from a rock beyond the Frog and I must use the Fan Dance from a distance.

Glide up to meet onis and a Tengu.  A large wind is in front of me here.  Glide upward and activate the Save point before ascending the stairs to the circular entry gate beneath the Torii Arch.

Introduction to Guardians of Azuma Guide

Introduction: Please see my Walkthrough posts for a linear guide to this game. This is a complex and rewarding game.  I fell in love with the series when the first Rune Factory was released and my guides were being published by IGN.    How could one not love the idea of Harvest Moon that introduced a forge and combat?  Decades later, and a number of different handheld systems later, we have the greatest Rune Factory game since the incredible Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.  In fact, it reminds me most of that game with similar beauty and rather profound emotional investment. Guardians of Azuma, although multi-layered and very complex, contains a wealth of tutorials and is much more forgiving in terms of goals. New Update gives new Development Zones and new Recipes

At Level 12, a new Reward from Kai: After building it, the Carpenter declares: Nice and solid, if I do say so myself! That will please his fans!  Even if one marries some one else, this lifesized figure can be the guardian of a shrine on your Development area.  I actually got to Level 12 with him today in my new game... but I am at maximum level with every one in my other gane so will be able to log new rewards from the update shortly. The new Spring and Summer Development zones are wonderful.  I need to push on in the new game to be able to complete my Walkthrough but I am eager to explore all the new options.
