Revolt in the Underworld

23 Summer:

Curious duality here.  Woolby tells me I have a date with Kai at noon at the Summer entrance.  A few moments later, Kai rudely awakens me by actually smacking me,  calls me his 'loyal minion' and when I question that:

Kai: Don't you remember when I added you to my squad?

Me: No.  Should I?

He twlls me we beed tk go at once.  Fortunately I can ignore him...  i want to go on our dare first.

I am trying to oversee the Villages a little now before more battles come thick and fast.  I have to grow so many cropa to reach maximum level.

It is only half past 11 so I walk into Hisui's shop to experience an interesting event with Subaru.  He apologises for his harshness the other day. Then asks if we can discuss the Black Dragon.  He misses her and wishes he could give her a real farewell.

Now it is time to meet Kai for our second date or if you count the day he told me he loved me as well, our third.  He will be only a few steps away as I still am on the Summer High Street.

This is both a touching and amusing event.  Kai actually is thinking ahead bow, wanting to have a future with you.  In so thinking, he wants to pay off his debt.  First though he has made you a little picnic but presses you to eat quickly, then runs off after a hasty goodbye.  When you follow, you witness him doing all sorta of odd jobs. 

When he is at Takumi's, you catch up with him and  confront him and he admits his goal.  You take him to Yochiyo's determined to pay it yourself, but she refuses saying he must do it himself.

You cannot experience another event with Kai until you have moved forward in the narrative.

Go to the Underworld.  Kai will be  first in your Party now.  He will tell you the revolt is near the Rear entrance.  It is the top right corner of the Underworld and  you have been there before but the door was locked.  Now it has a round white warp.  Go through it.

You will find three purple blights with blue blightblooms.  Two are on the ground.  The third that controls the net over the path requires a flaming arrow.

Two mining rocks, one behind a Kai rock.  

Defeat a Vicious Black oni

I have reqched Level 84 and Kai and Kurama, my first two companions now are 70.  Murasame is at 80.

Go to where there is a collapsed wooden structure, then turn round to climb the cable car with one blight bloom and use the sword.  Now use the parasol to glife to the second purpke blight bloom and destroy it.

Now carry on to find a mining rock on the right and a Frog on the left that gives:

It is 11 now.  With the event with Kai at noon, and not certain how quickly I wished to move forward,  I did not go to the Underworld until 4.

I go forward to see the blights that impede further progress.  A green blight with a high blightbloom that dispenses poison instantly.  I will leave all that for tomorrow!

I could have experiwnced another Event with Murasame today by going to the Spring Dragon Shruline: The Way to Greatness.  Final confrontation with Sunny.  I will do it tomorrow before our return to thr Underworld.

I will experience Kanata's forest event by going to the Heavenly Realm and Iroha's  An Unexpected Customer by going to her teahouse between noon and 3 p.m.

Subaru's next event requires him to be at Level 5.  Currently he is at Level 4 but I give him Sushi Platter (s) daily and ply Kanata with Sake.

I can experience the next event concerning the Bear if I go to Pilika's house..

One issue I have always now is lack of funds.  I spend money constantly on Village buildings and decorations.  I am not the sort of person to sell my supplies if the numbers are low.  If I have more than 100, I sell the excess.  Otherwise, I am not hasty to rid myself of materials that might be needed for something new.  Again, there is no real reason to  rush but I am trying to complete the goals as quickly as possible, while keeping a balance between the main Narrative and other aspects of life.

24 Summer:

I harvest some Golden Crops and do watering in the three villages where it is not raining.  Golden seeds still are limited and I do not want the villagers to harvest them as withered grass.

I raised Kanata to Level 5 and gave a gift to Subaru as well.  It is after 1 when I reach the Underworld.  I have not reached the Rear Entrqnce Save Point yet but it raises Levels to fight our way through again.

There are three green blightblooms.  Climb the pole first to hit the one at the top of the pole, then go to the one on the ground.  Finally now when you climb on the roof of the cable car, you can use the fan dance on the highest one and destroy it.

Constant status ailments on every one and new enemies rush in as well during this process.

There are flsme throwing red blights.  The one that is difficult requites that you climb over a lot of broken wood.  If you have ckeared the area of the others. You can perform the parasol dance from a narrow length of wood that is the closest place at the same altitude.

Unfortunately, I am not agile with these and wasted a bit of time.  Tried to move forward to a green blight I was able to destroy but that place triggered a ring of flame so had to defeat those enemies.  The save point is in view but behiind nets of blight.  More than one type of blight here.  It is a few minutes before midnight.  Have to go home.

I probably should simply get on with it tomorrow as early as possible.  Wasting an hour hanging about with Kai under a patasol in the rain probably was not the most efficient use of my time!

25 Summer:

I simply spoke to Kai and raised his level to 12.  He then gave me a Life-sized Kai Cutout that adds 10 Strength to the Village.  Nice surprise although I object to being called a minion!

Back to the Underworld to the last mess of blights of every conceivable type and enemies.

A wall of flame was triggered at the same place the red blightbloom was on the ground.

Go to the right first to find thd green blightbloom on the road, slightly obscured by a net of purple blight and use your fan.

Look for a blightbloom for red blight.  It is on the ground a little distance from the snarl of blight nets.  Use the parasol.

Now go back to the main nets and blight and find a red blightbloom that is behind some  wood wreckage.  That gets rid of all the blight flamethrowers.

There is chest here that has Hyperfocus Leg Guards. An actual item.

Another chest across the way with Rune Crystal.

Now all that remains is a green net of blight.  Again, the actial blightbloom is nowhere near any if this.  You need to go right (east), then south (down) then west (left) to find green blightbloom on the path in a little alcove.
