The Kagura Shrines

16 Spring.
A visitation from Ulalaka telling me my next goal is to go to the seasonal Shrines in the sky.
When I awaken, Matsuri tells me she has a gift and I need to find her at the Summer Shrine.  
When I walk our the door, however, I run into an exclamation point that triggers a flyer event with Iroha.  We must distribute dango adverts from the back of the dragon.
After that adventure:
Matsuri tells me I now can gave a party of six.  And then:  'Rotate and Dominate'.
I find Kurama seated beneath the Spring Tree and he goes to Level 2 by simply speaking to him.  When I give him a Sandwich, he goes to Level 3.
A Bonding Event with him as to why he hates the Mikoshi Melee if I go to Hina's House between 3 and 6 p.m.

I am able to Learn Divine Thunderclap for the Parasol and Blessings of Earth for the Drum.  
Going to the sky, see how fast I can do these shrines!

Quest to water crops with the Parasol: Rewards, 5 Ginger and 2000 Coins

I fly to the Spring Kagura Shrine and fight woolies and onis mainly in the arena.  I use the Drum, then find a Frog in the corner who gives me Silver Bow Recipe.

I stop by accident at the Pirate Island but activate the Save point before going on a little further to the Summer Kagura Shrine.  Here I battle Toad Samurai and bees.  Use the Sword Dance after and find a Frog with Badlands Battle Axe Recipe.

Now to the Autumn Shrine.
We fight Tanuki, Mushsprites and Bees and take Poison.  I use thw Drum before using the Fan Dance.  In the corner the Frog gives Ninja Blades Recipe.

I go to the Winter Shrine, fight mostly Buffamoo and Cluckadoodles and then use the Parasol. Frog in the corner gives a floating Island Lantern Recipe.

I go back to Autumn Village to Hiba's House to hear why Kurama hates the Mikoshi Melee, then back to the sky.  It would have been easier to find the place if I had gone directly from the last Kagura Sheine but as it was, Subaru did attack me on the Black Dragon.  My performance with the bow was less than stellar but I won and when I was about to slay him, I had a flash of memory.  He took the chance to flee.

Back at Autumn Vilkage, Kai at Yachiyo's after 5 but I still cannot interact.  Perhaps tomorrow...

I go to Winter Forest Entrance.  Take a littke path to the right and find a Frog giving Red Bean Bread Recipe.

I waste time trying to climb higher.  I finally give up as it is late and simply make my way to a new save Point, the Forest Depths and Save.  To the right of it and a bit forward is a Green Blight that requires a Fan Dance.  I clear it.

I put a Miso Shed on the Winter Dev Zone and go to Zaza's to experience Mauro's Event.  You then need to find Mauro and give him 10 Iron and 10 Bronze.

17 Spring: 
Visitation by Ulalaka who asks me to attend the First Meeting of the Gods when I awaken.  I instantly go there at 6.

Meeting of the Gods is the firat mention of the God of Heaven and the God of the Oni.  But no one suggests what to do to find them.

After the meeting, Fubuki summons us to the Winter Shrine to teach us the Victory Dance.

Woolby:  Whag are we supposed to do now?  It would be great if we had another divine visitation in our dreams.

At the Spring Village, looking for Mauro to give him the Iron and Bronze, I run into an exclamation point near rhe crossroads and experience an event with Ulalaka and Sakaki.  Monsters have encroached and ruined his crops.

I went to the Summer Shrine for an event between Matsuri and Ula wherein Matsuri was chopping wood as a favour and as proof of her amazing strength.

I disnded my Party abd went alone to tame a Hornet with Honey, completing a quest.

I wasted a lot of time trying to glide in Summer but I did take the vent to the Frog who gave French Toast Recipe.
From there I glided to a chest containing Energy Potion.
Then I did see the way to go across the Hanging Bridge and then use the Parasol to reach the Secret Hot Spring.

A Frog there gives a Bamboo Wall.

I use the bath and Woolby actually floats in there with me like a bath toy.

I then go down to the Beach and race through the water past the Frog on the rock to that formation where I could not reach the Frogs that were elevated without the Parasol.  I defeat the Tengu and restore an Orange Tree, then the Frog gives me a Grilled miso Onigiri Recipe.
To reach the other elevated area, I run through the water that hugs the rocks and dispel fog with the Fan Dance bringing an air vent to view.  I rise with the Parasol.
There is a Jizo Shrine to clean here and the Frog gives Tofu Hamburg Steak Recipe.

I was only qble to glide to a Frog who gave me a Soup Dumplinf Recipe a nd Meat Dumplings Eecipe

I speak to Murasame at 6 asking if gevknows about Aztral Shrines.  He tells me to go to an island in tge sky.  I follow the gold pin.  There is fog over stone steps so I use the fan to dispel that.
More fog to dispel.  We fight wolves, chickens and Buffamoo.
I ride a wind upward to the next isle.  A Frog gives cherry blossom bonsai.

Ride another wind to a save poibt and onigiri hole is here.
It wants Bonito Flake Onigiti
I take the Big Basket:

Forgotten Grove
In that ancient ruins depths  I recall a shrine dedicated to one constellation or another.

Introduction to Guardians of Azuma Guide

Introduction: Please see my Walkthrough posts for a linear guide to this game. This is a complex and rewarding game.  I fell in love with the series when the first Rune Factory was released and my guides were being published by IGN.    How could one not love the idea of Harvest Moon that introduced a forge and combat?  Decades later, and a number of different handheld systems later, we have the greatest Rune Factory game since the incredible Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.  In fact, it reminds me most of that game with similar beauty and rather profound emotional investment. Guardians of Azuma, although multi-layered and very complex, contains a wealth of tutorials and is much more forgiving in terms of goals. New Update gives new Development Zones and new Recipes

At Level 12, a new Reward from Kai: After building it, the Carpenter declares: Nice and solid, if I do say so myself! That will please his fans!  Even if one marries some one else, this lifesized figure can be the guardian of a shrine on your Development area.  I actually got to Level 12 with him today in my new game... but I am at maximum level with every one in my other gane so will be able to log new rewards from the update shortly. The new Spring and Summer Development zones are wonderful.  I need to push on in the new game to be able to complete my Walkthrough but I am eager to explore all the new options.
