After Saving Azuma, Tying Loose Ends

I had returned to my very first game to try to mend fences as it were, and move forward.  In another game, I had married, had two children and used the Orb at the Fateweaver Shrine.  In this game, I was a latecomer to the feast.  It was 26 Winter when I finally defeated Mihoshi Habaki and therefore brought Clarice into Azuma as a resident.

I had Kai at Level 12 and had planted the Sacred Plum behind the Shrine.  I thought I could have proposed to him without actually defeating Mihoshi Habaki first but when I tested that, there never was any option to propose.  In this game, I now am going to experience all remaining regular Bonding Events with the characters but use the Orb at my leisure to go through all the courtship events.

So on the same day I defeated Mihoshi Habaki, I decide to experience Fubuki's next event.  The description simply was: 'Go to the Winter Wilds' but that will not trigger it.  Moreover, the marker did not appear at all until I left the Winter Wilds for White Wolf Mountain and then turned back into the Winter Wilds.  If you triangulate midpoint between the Crevasse and Broken Bridge Save Points, that is where you should find the marker.  This event is Winter-Blooming Beauty 2.

It is an event worthy of a fairytale.  Its effect on Fubuki is that he feels the warmth of unfamiliar emotion despite the cold.

27 Winter:  

I found Clarice in front of the Spring God Shrine and gave her Zweibelkuchen.  She went from zero to 1.  I then found Subaru in front of Hisui's shop to experience his event.  It ends at the Dragon Shrine with a better relationship.  He apologises qnd makes it clear he cares about you.  He speakd of the Black Dragon and frustration of not having said goodbye to her.

I then experience Mauro's event by going to the Underworld.  Kai meets you but then you must find him again with the quest marker at the exit that leads to the Dragon's Gravesite.

To my surprise, I had no one in my Party... I suppose the result of fighting against Mihoshi Habaki alone!  Mauro's Event ends at the Autumn God Shrine.

28 Winter:

I experiwnce Mauro's next event near his airship earlybinnthe morning.  When I tey to find Ikaruga to hear his response to mt confession, I walk into the gold pin for Clarice's first Bonding event in front of Zaza's forge.

I then find Ikaruga and we set up a date.

I ask for a request and his is to defeat a Lv 35 Bear.  The one on the Summwr Island does not count, so I go to Goldblossom Mine.  I see there I never clesred all the blight so I find the little room at the end of a cul-de-sac where a single blightbloom clears the blight obstructing the rest of the blightblooms in that large open area.  There are two blightblooms high on rocks above the water.  You can use flame arrows on both to destroy all the blight that remains.  Now the chest and Frog that were obscured by a blight net are free.  The chest contains VIT Maga III.  The Frog gives the Vermilion Gate Recipe.

29 Winter:  

I experience the first part of Mauro's next event outside Hina's house where she identifies his picture as being the Mechanical Maze.

Then I walk down the Summer High Street and trigger Subaru's next event where Tsubame is not receiving her shipments and he and I go to find them.  She tells us to begin with the Ship Graveyard.  No such place on the map but you go to the Summer Shores and run down the beach.  The marker is about halfway.

I have a date with Ikaruga at noon so I need to watch the clock.

When we reach the marker, we are attacked by a host of Mushsprites.  We must fight off a ciuple of waves of them. Subaru remarks that there was new blight but it is gone now.  Subaru goes off to report to Tsuname.

Now my situation is that I have two events at Iroha's Teahouse:

Clarice with 'A Swordsmsn among Gods' 6 to 10

And my date with Ikaruga: 

'What Makes a Good Date?'

12 to 3.

If I go now, the event with Clarice can be triggered earlier than his.

It is another Party of the Gods with Cklarice as the VIP guest.  She suddenly is filled with guilt and self hatred and leaves.

I go to the entrance to the Spring Village to meet Ikaruga.  With Dango from Iroha, we enjoy a simple picnic together .

There is a marker outaide Murasame's house.  I forgot he had another event I could trigger.

I spoke to Watarase and showed my Pescapedia.  He gave me a number of Recipes and one for a Hobbyist's Fishing Pole.  (Fishing Made Better Quest)
