Nine-Tails and Hina


You will encounter Nine-Tails twice in the course of completing the Main Quests.

Both times, she will be im an arena on Prisoner Island.  This is the location of the Twilight Gaol.

The first time, Hina will appear and attempt to stop you from going further.  When you insist on continuing, she transforms into Nine-Tails.

The second time will be as part of the Quest to find all the Heart Shards dropped by Mihoshi Habaki.  Her level will be much higher in this boss battle.

Afterwards, you can return to the arena any day you wish to relive the battle.  You can tame Nine-Tails.  Give her one of the Bells she drops.

A Recipe for a Life-Sized Nine-Tails Cutout is the Reward given by Hina when she reaches Level 15.  At Level 12, she gives the Recipe for her own Cutout.

How the Fateweaver Shrine Fates work in Guardians of Azuma

I read descriptions about this.  I read opinions of players who had different reasons for wanting or not wanting to do it. I am the sort of player who has back up files.  I saved a file at the point of planting the Plum Sapling where every eligible candidate was at Level 10, had gone through all Bonding Events and would accept my proposal if I made one. I went forward from there and married Kai, and had two children with him.  At this point, the game was given an update with new rewards and ability to increase Bond Levels.  In the file where I was married to Kai, I raised every character with a Profile to Level 12 to obtain a Life-sized Cut Out Recipe. All Villages were at Level 10 and I completed all the Pure Azuma Quests. I was promoted to god after returning the Heart Shards to Mihoshi Habaki. What I had not done was go through the Trials.
