Wedding Anniversary

Kai on our Wedding Anniversary.  I will have to see if any others mark the date.

My favourite social interactions with a loved one or spouse are to 'Embrace', 'Pat Head' or 'Kiss'.  Especially when married, it is a lovely way to start the day.

I was a little taken aback by the 'Pat Head' suggestion, but it really is more like stroking the hair of a loved one than giving a pat to a pet, although Fubuki definitely IS part animal and lets out the occasional 'woof' in conversations.
This is not his only response to an Embrace, but I really love the way Kai empowers me to feel free to act upon my feelings without fearing rejection ever.

Still married to Mauro and he is really lovely, although every single remark is punctuated by uproarious laughter.  Even so, I always miss Kai.

Cooking with him again made me smile:   Making Hellfire Dango:  ‘Right!  Let’s do this! Don’t worry.  I got this!  Just trust me!  (Then, when it is finished) Not half bad, if I say so myself.  Can’t vouch for the taste, but yeah… whatever.  Give it a shot!

I am going through the entire story again and just reached the first meeting with Kai at Yachiyo’s.  When she tells you to sit wherever you wish and you sit next to him, he will rebuke you for not ordering anything.    Yachi then asks you to order and you have three choices:

I knew he would hate that choice… but never went through all three!  I knew what his preference would be from the packed lunches he gave me every day when we were married.  I may hate fish, but I hastened to choose the Grilled Pike!

After the event, notification that Bonding with Kai was strengthened

Comprehensive Guide by Freyashawk: This is the first in a series of posts that will constitute a detailed Walkthrough. Introduction to Guardians of Azuma Guide

Introduction: Please see my Walkthrough posts for a linear guide to this game. This is a complex and rewarding game.  I fell in love with the series when the first Rune Factory was released and my guides were being published by IGN.    How could one not love the idea of Harvest Moon that introduced a forge and combat?  Decades later, and a number of different handheld systems later, we have the greatest Rune Factory game since the incredible Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii.  In fact, it reminds me most of that game with similar beauty and rather profound emotional investment. Guardians of Azuma, although multi-layered and very complex, contains a wealth of tutorials and is much more forgiving in terms of goals.
