Aurelia, second daughter of Mauro

(She was walking along the Summer High Street when she told me this.  It really touched my heart.)

I wrote elsewhere about the personality and dialogue of the daughter that is ‘a soft, gentle sweetheart’ but I will devote this post to her.

In my marriage to Mauro, I had chosen a girl as my first child, and she was the first sort.

If I had chosen to have a boy as the second, I could have opted for any of the three types but as one cannot have two children of the same gender with identical personalities, I had only two choices for the second girl.

Remember these rules before you make any choices:

The first child will have your hair colour and your spouse’s eye colour.   There are three different choices for personality.

If you choose the same gender for your second child, you will have only two personality options.  If you choose the opposite gender, you have all three again.

Your second child will have your spouse’s hair colour and your eyes.  This is the more distinctive or unique child so choose well.

You also wait longer for the second child.  You need only be married five days to experience the conversation wherein your spouse asks if you would welcome an addition to your family.  Five days later, your pregnancy is confirmed by Woolby and after another five days, your first child will be born.

You must wait an entire season (30 days) after the birth of your first child for your spouse to ask if you would like another.

After that, the business follows the same timeline: five days to confirm pregnancy and an additional five days to experience the birth event.
