Umi, Kurama’s Son (2nd Option male)
I always chose the first options and third options whenever I was married and asked what sort of child I would want. The second male option I rejected because of his hairstyle. I really did not wish to marry Kurama either because I wanted a spouse who treated me as an equal and did not berate me for my past decisions.
The close friend who sent me this game and asked me to write a guide had asked me to marry Kurama though. I certainly owed at least that much to her but apart from that, if you do not explore every option in a game, you miss quite a lot.
Marrying an eligible character gives you more insight into that individual’s past, likes and dislikes, hopes and dreams, apart from little romantic dialogues and events that require marriage.
Although the birth of your first child unlocks the Forest of Endings and the real ‘end’ of the Story where you can choose to assume the helm as leader of all the gods or simply remain an Earth Dancer, every child is different and has his or her own personality, likes and dislikes and little dialogues unique to that child.
I killed two birds with one stone by marrying Kurama and then choosing the second option for a male child. And it has been very rewarding.
The little guy has incredible enthusiasm and courage. He is more like my beloved Kai than either of the other children and is fearless in combat. What surprised me was the fact that he loves reading as well as exploring.
He is quick to laugh and quick to express his love of you and his family.

As for Kurama, I resented him for his attitude of superiority. I still resent that, but he learns a great deal after marriage and really makes an effort to be a loving and thoughtful partner.
